Said they were giving out free telephone number recognition service. Call back number was a company called Smith & Noble and said that this was not their number. Lady answered from home baby crying in the background. Sound like a scam.

Looking up information on Social Security Disability, like an idiot, I put in some personal details. Low and behold, after igorning a couple of their calls. I accidently picked up and it was this very lovely young lady. First I was pretty harsh on her (you know how your defenses go up automatically when you are getting an unexpected call from a stranger. But she was very patient with me and explain that she just wanted to give me some information on disability and it was free of charge. I had my doubts, but something in her voice made me reconsider. We spoke for about 45 minutes and I told her what was my story. He gave me really really good information she also forward me some links to some other questions I had and other resources that I needed. Very informative young lady, very patient and kind. After a few days whern I was expecting a bill or some follow up pressure to sign for representation and because she was so delightful, I called back and signed up for their services, tho I didn't get to speak with her again but the young man that worked with Mgan set me up with the paperwork to represent my claim. It's too bad she didn't personally handle my case, she's in that initial Department I guess. I wasn't too pleased with the person who did my application or the person who was my case manager. I did end up winning the case, it took a couple years. I'll never forget the kindness the person who called me from this number gave me.

It calls in excess of 5-8 times a day. I hardly answer. But when I do it hangs up just a few seconds into the call. This is repetitive.

This number is linked to a charge on my debit card for $74.95. when you call it it says wait time is in excess of 15 minutes and after waiting 10 to 12 minutes it tells you the mailbox is full call at another time. I have unsuccessfully tried to reach them for hours on end just to be cut off with nobody answering. This is the only link I have to find out who and why I was charged$75 on my debit card. My statement only has Members only as to who the charge was made to. I now have to cancel my debit card and get another one issued since I cannot reach anybody to dispute this directly

This number is advertising rentals on properties it does not own. They have scammed multiple people by selling vouchers to unsuspecting renters. BEWARD.

There was an official looking receipt for an eBay purchase with PayPal. It included a phone number, which I called but didn’t give them anything other than the info on their order sheet. Stated that someone in NC ordered this 2800$ Copier from ebay with PayPal which they said was linked to my checking account (therefore electronic check) when first they said it was a check, I told them that would be irresponsible to take a check without proper ID, thus this story. What continued this as I kept them busy, was that I checked my ebay and PayPal and eBay had no purchase recently, PayPal showed no recent transactions that I haven’t made, BUT my checking account was linked as payment. So while they “looked up” info and I stalled giving them info, I confirmed that this and the other “found” charge of 2100 was not mine. Something odd about him asking me if the account would even cover the amount charged, although I was fairly sure it was a scam before that, made me confident it was. Of course I told him no, and the whole thing would be charged back from my bank and I needed their official address and contact info for both the authorities looking into the person alleged to have used my account and to also handle any disputes with them. I was put on hold. Yeah then I hung up. They are getting better at this, smarter, and correcting their tells. Beware. This number was the number that was on the “invoice” and it already has one scan alert.

Veronica - Supposedly to collect a debt for a payday loan that i had never in my life received. It "started at $300 and now with court costs and what not its $1038" and how did I want to proceed with payment in form of wire transfer or money order to some random po box. I laughed and she said "good luck with ur case and may god be on your side" and hung up. I called back...got her again explained her poor customer service by hanging up on me for not letting me say a single word regarding this supposed account. She was like...well then why did you call back. I said to get your company straight that i have not nor ever will get a pay day loan. (uhm hello..pay day loan...u get loan. they IMMEDIATELY take it from ur bank account. how do you get a debt with them. ud obtain a debt with ur banking institution morons) She hung up again. Im half tempted to harrass them as much as they've harrassed me today. 6 phone calls since 8 am from a LOCAL number to call a toll free number.

Received a call from this number from someone who claimed to be an insurance agent. Left no voice mail, but also sent a text asking me if I had purchased a Truck recently. I have not ! I called back twice, no answer “ mailbox full “ I sent text back to question “ No “ I decided to call the insurance company and ask for the name of the person they claimed to be. He said that he didn’t not call me, different area code also. I explained someone was impersonating him. Claiming to be him, from his business office. While on the phone, the 818 number called me back, saying that they were investigating something with the dmv …. He claimed to be the insurance agent again. I told him, o you’re not. I have the real person on the other line. What’s this all about I asked. I told him I was going to call police, and file a report With both of these numbers. Something strange is going on ! As soon as I called out the impersonator he said that the person was his buddy ? Why was he using his buddy’s information from insurance agent !? Insurance agent and I talked, he didn’t seem that concerned that someone was using his name ?

Received call from this number at 8:40 pm. Call Screener app diverted call. Called it back from a secured line. Recording said basically that this number is from outside me calling area. Definitely a scam. Possibly high risk. No one should be calling me from an 800 # this late in the evening.

Not word for word, but this is the idea; A guy with South Asian accent calls from a noisy call center saying, "Hi, Joe. You have an orthopedic device that Medicare wants to send to you. Can we send it, tomorrow, Mr. Jones?" and "Medicare will pay for it." Further questioning resulted in a barrage of profanity from the caller.

I got an email supposedly from Amazon customer service about a $2,000 TV that was shipping to me. I never ordered it. It never showed up on my Amazon account. I called the 800 number listed on the email just to screw with him. I kept him on the phone for 15 minutes with every excuse you could imagine. This is definitely a scam. The phone number is 800 804-4659. He started instructing me to hold down the control key and the Windows key and as soon as he did that I let him have it.

I got a call from this number claiming to be att but to take advantage of the discount I have to call another number and that number was reported as an IRS scam. All scams don’t call any of them

Caller is a robo call who will claim to be a real person if you ask to speak to a person. They claim to be from AT&T DirectTV and that they are calling all current customers to offer a 50% discount (never gonna happen). They ask for your AT&T passcode or last 4 of SS to confirm your account. 100% scammer phishing for your info.

Called me via a automated service saying that they confiscated a illegal package that was "under my name" n they have a warrant for my arrest saying that the call is from the Canadian border agency... In which I never ordered anything since the start of this year on January 15th 2021 for a router.. so basically I never ordered anything to be shipped by mail for 9 months. Either it's a prank call or a scam or maybe it really was the case but someone used my name which would be fraud idk tbh I'm totally shocked today.
