got a call from 631-363-1061. said they were calling randomly about a Civil Complaint for someone I knew. Gave me this 8009979501 number asking me to tell the person to call that number to get the information regarding the Civil complaint. When I asked who they were, he said a 3rd party hire from a law firm. I asked the name of his company - he said "Ali". He kept wanting to transfer me to the 800 number and kept asking if I was the person they were looking for. I hung up on them. I looked on line and saw this 800 number and the other similar stories. This is a TOTAL SCAM.

A voicemail was left on my phone from 1-(708)438-6986. They said that they are calling because they have a “signature required document” that needs to be delivered. The callback number left in voicemail was (800)993-7771. I called and he said they are looking for My husband to serve him a civil legal complaint and wanted me to have him call them back at (800)997-9501. We did not and will not. It’s a scam. Too many irregularities for it to be legit.

Said that a complaint has been filed on my brother and he needed to call back. Just disregarded.

This number was giving to my brother is law . Someone called looking for my husband saying they are trying to handle a legal claim outside of court . The number they originally called from is not in service because i called it back but they left this number for my husband to give them a call back. I called the number a women named Lara answered. I ask what company this was an what is it she did. She gave me very little information But said i can look up national consumer group.com and i gave her zero information about myself. Ijust told her that i was giving this number an if she could give me a website and more information to verify . That’s the only information she gave me .told me who ever needs help can call back when they are ready an hung up.

A woman claiming to be a debt collector for an old account from 2006 that I don’t recall ever having. Wanted my bank account information given to them over the phone. Told them no and my lawyer would be contacting them and the woman told me to have a good day and hung up on me. She or someone else Proceeded to call me back about 2 hours later, but I didn’t answer and no voicemail was left for me to listen to.
